Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 複数の放射状端壁部を有しかつ閉塞可能とされたハウジング内に配置され ているとともに、パイプラインに対して密閉状態で延在するように半径方向内側 に突出しかつ軸線方向に離間された二つのリング状ビード部を有するエラストマ ー製パッキング用カラーを有し、 前記各リング状ビード部は、パイプカップリングの長手軸線に対して鋭角を有 して設けられたリング状ギャップにより、隣接する二つの放射状ビード部へと副 分割され、 外側放射状ビード部には、前記ギャップにより鋭角を有するパッキング用リッ プ部が形成され、 前記ギャップは、隣接する二つの前記放射状ビード部の弾性変形により押圧さ れうるようにされているパイプカップリングにおいて、 前記パッキング用カラー(5)の各前側部(11)は、前記パイプカップリン グの長手軸線に向けて内側に傾斜されているとともに、円錐形のクランプ用リン グ(13;21)に対して延在しており、 該クランプ用リングは、円周部において副分割されているとともに前記ハウジ ング(4)上で軸線方向および半径方向に支持されており、かつ、前記ハウジン グ(4)が縮径かつ閉塞されるとともに前記パッキング用カラー(5)が締め付 けられたときに、対応するパイプ(1または2)上に延在していることを特徴と するパイプカップリング。 2. 内側に傾斜された前記前側部(11)は、内側円錐状部(12)として実 質的に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のパイプカップリング。 3. 前記クランプ用リング(13)には、丸みを有する内側縁部(20)が形 成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のパイプカップリン グ。 4. 前記各クランプ用リング(21)は、接続されるべき二つの前記パイプ( 1,2)のそれぞれと軸線方向における固定位置で係合を行うための鋭い内側縁 部(22)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のパイプ カップリング。 5. 前記クランプ用リング(21)には、前記内側縁部(22)上に複数の切 欠き(23)が互いに離間して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の パイプカップリング。 6. 前記クランプ用リング(13;21)は、約45°のテーパ角度αを有し ていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載のパイプカップ リング。 7. 前記クランプ用リング(13;21)には、丸みを有する外側縁部(18 )が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の パイプカップリング。 8. 前記クランプ用リング(13;21)は、バネ用鋼材で形成されているこ とを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載のパイプカップリング。
