Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも90重量%が20μm以上の粒径を持ち、かつ、第1次粒子か ら形成されたスプレー乾燥顆粒であって、該第1次粒子が、少なくとも90重量 %が10μm以下の粒径を持ち、水溶性のエチレン性不飽和モノマーまたはモノ マー混合物と5〜2000ppmの多エチレン性不飽和架橋剤とのポリマーから 形成され、そして、水溶性ポリマーと水不溶性ポリマーを含有し、該顆粒は、非 水性液体中での第1次ポリマー粒子の逆相エマルションのスプレー乾燥により形 成されたものであって、かつ、該顆粒は、水に加えると実質上完全に崩壊するこ とを特徴とするスプレー乾燥顆粒。 2.ポリマーが、少なくとも4dl/gの固有粘度を持つものである請求項1 記載の顆粒。 3.ポリマーが、カチオン性ポリマーであり、かつ、少なくとも25%のイオ ン性回復を有するものである請求項1または2に記載の顆粒。 4.水に加えたときに、実質上完全に10μm以下の粒子に崩壊する請求項1 ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の顆粒。 5.少なくとも90重量%が20μm以上の粒径を持ち、少なくとも90重量 %が10μm以下の粒径を持つ第1次粒子から形成され、かつ、水溶性ポリマー と水不溶性ポリマーを含有する顆粒の製造方法であって、5〜2000ppmの 多エチレン性不飽和架橋剤を含有する水溶性のエチレン性不飽和モノマーまたは モノマー混合物の逆相重合により、非水性液体中での第1次粒子のエマルション を作成し、そして、該エマルションをスプレー乾燥し、それによって、第1次粒 子から形成され、かつ、水に加えたときに実質上完全 に崩壊するスプレー乾燥顆粒を作成することを特徴とする顆粒の製造方法。 6.逆相重合により作られたエマルションが、非水性液体中の水性第1次ポリ マー粒子のエマルションであって、20〜70%の水を含み、スプレー乾燥後の エマルションも第1次ポリマー粒子中に20〜70%の水を含む請求項5記載の 製造方法。 7.エマルションが、油中水型乳化剤、親水性ポリマー及び両親媒性ポリマー の内から選択される添加剤を、ポリマーの乾燥重量を基準にして、1〜10%含 有する請求項5または6に記載の製造方法。 8.ポリマーが、少なくとも4dl/gの固有粘度を有するものである請求項 5ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。 9.ポリマーが、カチオン性ポリマーであり、かつ、少なくとも25%のイオ ン性回復を有するものである請求項5ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の小粒の製 造方法。 10.顆粒が、水に加えたときに、実質上完全に崩壊して、10μm以下の粒 子になる請求項5ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。 11.請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の顆粒、または請求項5ないし 10のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法により製造された顆粒を水に混合すること を特徴とする凝集剤溶液の製造方法。 12.凝集剤溶液または粘稠剤溶液の製造方法において、少なくとも90重量 %が20μm以上の粒径を持ち、かつ、5〜2000ppmの多エチレン性不飽 和架橋剤を含有する水溶性のエチレン性不飽和モノマーまたはモノマー混合物の 非水性液体中での逆相エマルション重合により製造され、それによって、少なく とも90重量%が10 μm以下の粒径を有するポリマーが形成され、該ポリマーは、水溶性及び水不溶 性ポリマーを含有し、そして、該エマルションをスプレー乾燥して形成された顆 粒を、水に混合することを特徴とする凝集剤溶液または粘稠剤溶液の製造方法。 13.懸濁固体の懸濁液を凝集する方法において、請求項11または12に記 載の方法により凝集剤溶液を形成し、その結果として生成した溶液を、懸濁固体 と混合し、次いで、その結果として生じた凝集懸濁液を固−液分離に付すること を特徴とする懸濁固体の懸濁液を凝集する方法。 14.分離が、遠心分離、ベルトプレス、ベルト濃厚化、遠心脱水、遠心濃厚 化、及びフィルタープレスより選択される方法による請求項13記載の方法。 15.水性組成物を粘稠化する方法において、組成物中に、または、その後組 成物に加えられる水中に、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の顆粒、ある いは請求項5ないし10のいずれか1項に記載の方法による顆粒を混合すること を特徴とする水性組成物を粘稠化する方法。
