Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.排気ガスが排気弁を通ってシリンダ内に引戻されるのを抑制するため内燃 エンジンの運転中に空気がエンジン排気マニホルドへ選択的に侵入することを自 動的に可能にする吸気装置であって、該吸気装置はマニホルドへ連通するポート を有するマニホルドに装着されたアダプタと、第1逆止弁であってアダプタに装 着され、マニホルド内側の圧力が該第1弁における圧力より大きい時にガスがマ ニホルドからポートを通って排出するのを阻止する第1逆止弁と、第1弁に通路 によって接続された第2逆止弁とを有し、第2逆止弁は通路内側の圧力が第2弁 における圧力より低いときはいつも空気が通路に侵入することを可能にするよう に配置され、また、エンジン速度の増加とともに増加する、大気圧以上の、異な った圧力で第2弁に空気を供給する装置を有する吸気装置。 2.アダプタがマニホルドに装着されたポートまで延在する中空本体を有し且 つポートがマニホルド内にその内面からさらに延長する管として形成された請求 項1に記載の吸気装置。 3.中空本体が中間膨脹室を形成された請求項2に記載の吸気装置。 4.逆止弁がそれぞれ針弁を有する請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の吸 気装置。 5.通路が中間膨脹室を形成された請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の吸 気装置。 6.第2逆止弁の位置は第2弁が開閉する圧力差を変更するため手動で調節可 能である請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の吸気装置。 7.空気が空気ラムによって第2逆止弁に供給され、空気ラムは車両の前進速 度に対応する圧力の空気を得るようにエンジンが取付けられる車両の前方に露出 する入口を有する請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の吸気装置。 8.空気が空気ポンプによって供給される請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記 載の吸気装置。 9.空気ポンプがエンジン用ターボ過給機の一部を構成する請求項8に記載の 吸気装置。
