DESCRIZIONE
dell'invenzione industriale avente per titolo:
“Procedimento per la realizzazione di un manufatto da cucina con interno di argento o sue leghe elettroformatoâ€
La presente invenzione concerne un procedimento per la realizzazione di un manufatto da cucina con interno di argento o sue leghe ottenuto per elettroformatura.
Sono note nello stato della tecnica pentole metalliche di forma composita, multistrato, in cui strati di metallo con elevata conducibilità termica si alternano a strati di acciaio inossidabile.
Secondo il brevetto GB 920943, un oggetto di metallo composito comprende una strato di acciaio inossidabile, rivestita da uno strato di nichel su almeno una faccia e placcata di stagno, cadmio o argento. Uno strato esterno di alluminio pressofuso serve come mezzo per trasferire calore alla strato di acciaio inossidabile, usata come superficie di cottura di una pentola da cucina. Il brevetto GB920943 rivendica inoltre un metodo di realizzazione di un dispositivo laminato comprendente un membro metallico di una forma desiderata, rivestito da uno strato di nichel, e dotato di una placca di metallo, tipo stagno, cadmio o argento, sulla quale viene fuso l’alluminio.
Nel brevetto US7960034, vengono fomite diverse combinazioni di metalli differenti in multistrato composito per fare pentole rivestite di rame. In diverse forme di realizzazione, uno strato di argento à ̈ impiegato per collegare strati interni e adiacenti di alluminio, al fine di migliorare ulteriormente la conducibilità termica. Lo strato di argento à ̈ una lamina sottile con uno spessore di circa 0,003-0,005 pollici, applicato mediante placcatura o altri mezzi noti.
In vista dello stato della tecnica, scopo della presente invenzione à ̈ quello di fornire un procedimento di realizzazione di un manufatto da cucina formato da un recipiente metallico rivestito al proprio interno da uno strato di argento o sue leghe, che sia diverso da quelli noti e che migliori la capacità di cottura degli alimenti.
In accordo alla presente invenzione, detto scopo viene raggiunto mediante un procedimento di realizzazione di una manufatto da cucina, comprendente le fasi di formatura, indurimento superficiale ed ossidazione, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere inoltre Γ elettroformatura di argento o sue leghe a rivestire la parte interna del manufatto.
Vantaggiosamente la superficie interna del manufatto da cucina prevede uno strato di materiale con eccellenti proprietà antibatteriche e antivirali, capace di non alterare gli oli ed i grassi aggiunti o presenti nelle sostanze da cuocere, di inibire l’adesione e facilitare il distacco degli alimenti dal fondo della pentola nella fase di cottura.
Le caratteristiche della presente invenzione risulteranno maggiormente evidenti dalla seguente descrizione di alcune forme di realizzazione pratica, illustrate a titolo di esempio non limitativo nei disegni allegati, in cui:
la figura 1 mostra la vista in sezione di una porzione di un recipiente in materiale ferroso sottoposto a trattamento termochimico;
la figura 2 mostra la vista in sezione della porzione di figura 1 a cui à ̈ stata applicato uno strato metallico dopo trattamento di lucidatura.
Una pentola 1 Ã ̈ formata da un recipiente di materiale ferroso 10 al cui interno viene applicato una strato metallico 20.
Il recipiente di materiale ferroso 10, sagomato e rifinito secondo la tecnica nota, viene sottoposto, in una prima fase, ad un processo di indurimento superficiale, seguito da un processo di ossidazione, per evitarne la corrosione, e da un trattamento di finitura. Tra i processi di indurimento superficiale si considera la nitrurazione, in cui il recipiente di materiale ferroso viene posto in ambiente gassoso, o gassoso con plasma (iononitrurazione). In alternativa si ricorre a nitrurazione per via elettrolitica da sali fusi. Una variante al processo di nitrurazione può essere la carbonitrurazione o la carburazione per via gassosa o da sali fusi.
La nitrurazione in fase gassosa si svolge per dissociazione termica dell'ammoniaca, alla superficie catalitica ferrosa, l’azoto atomico prodotto diffonde nel substrato di ferro costituente il recipiente 10. La nitrurazione comporta anche la formazione di uno strato superficiale di nitruri di ferro 11 oltre allo strato di diffusione 12 dell’azoto nel ferro del recipiente 10, che penetra per uno spessore dell’ordine di una cinquantina di micron. La durezza e la profondità dello strato di diffusione dell’azoto 12 dipendono dal potenziale nitrurante (PN), che dipende a sua volta dal grado di dissociazione dell'ammoniaca. Dopo il processo di indurimento superficiale, il recipiente 10 viene sottoposto ad un processo di ossidazione per via gassosa, con acqua o protossido d’azoto, o per via chimica acquosa, o con l’impiego di liquidi ionici. Il processo di ossidazione si svolge nello stesso forno in cui si à ̈ svolto il processo di indurimento superficiale e comporta la formazione di uno strato sottile di ossidi di ferro di tipo magnetitico 13, inferiore al micron, ed uno strato di nitrossidi 14, sottostante allo strato 13.
L’interno del recipiente 10 viene quindi lucidato a specchio ai panni, con asportazione dello strato ossidato 14, e di parte dello strato nitrurato 12.
La seconda fase del processo di realizzazione di una pentola 1 prevede il rivestimento interno del recipiente 10 con uno strato 20 elettroformato d’argento, o di lega d’argento.
L’ elettroformatura di argento o sue leghe consente di rivestire il substrato di ferro 10 con uno strato d’argento o sue leghe 21 dello spessore che può essere di alcune decine di micron, ma può arrivare anche al centinaio di micron, con durezza superiore a quella dell’argento metallurgico.
In alternativa all’ elettroformatura di argento puro si può effettuare quella di uno strato 22 di una lega di argento-stagno o di argento germanio o di argento-antimonio o di argento-bismuto, che sostituisce o contribuisce ad indurire lo strato 21 d’argento elettroformato, rendendolo meno solforabile e limitando la formazione del colore nero che alcuni cibi possono provocare durante la cottura.
Una variante a questo processo prevede che Γ elettroformatura dello strato di argento sia effettuata prima del processo di indurimento superficiale e di ossidazione.
Il recipiente 10 può essere di ferro armco o acciaio da nitrurazione o da cementazione, od anche di ghisa. Volendo aumentare la resistenza a caldo del manufatto à ̈ possibile anche usare un acciaio inox martensitico, in cui non ci sia presenza di nichel. Il ferro armco ha un’elevatissima permeabilità magnetica ed una coercitività magnetica trascurabile; essendo un materiale magnetico dolce, per questo si presta particolarmente per realizzare oggetti da cucina per la cottura su fornelli a induzione magnetica. L’ossidazione del ferro armco nitrurato ne aumenta in modo considerevole la resistenza a corrosione essendo costituito da magnetite passivante.
Vengono di seguito descritti alcuni esempi di realizzazione di un manufatto secondo la presente invenzione.
Esempio 1
Una pentola di ferro armco à ̈ lucidata in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. La pentola à ̈ poi nitrurata in forno a 550°C per 4 ore in atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2, con potenziale nitrurante PN = 0,95. Dopo lavaggio con azoto, viene ossidata per 2 ore mediante immissione di acqua vapore nello stesso forno a temperature di 490°C o di 520°C. L’interno della pentola viene lucidato a specchio ai panni, con asportazione dello strato ossidato e di parte di quello nitrurato. Si procede infine all’argentatura della parte interna introducendo nella pentola la soluzione di argentatura commerciale alcalina ai cianuri, con anodo centrale in argento, ed alimentazione continua della soluzione con pompa di ricircolazione. L’ elettroformatura di argento prosegue fino a raggiungere uno spessore di 0,1 mm. Il deposito d’argento mantiene la lucentezza iniziale senza bisogno di ulteriore lucidatura.
Esempio 2
Un tegame di ferro armco à ̈ lucidato in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. Il tegame à ̈ poi nitrurato in forno a 500°C per 2 ore in atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2, con potenziale nitrurante PN = 0,90. Dopo lavaggio con azoto, viene ossidato per 1 ora mediante immissione di acqua vapore nello stesso forno a temperature di 470°C o di 500°C.
L’interno del tegame viene lucidato a specchio ai panni, con asportazione dello strato ossidato e di parte di quello nitrurato.
Si procede infine all’argentatura della parte interna montando il tegame su apposito telaio ed introducendo il telaio, opportunamente schermato, in una vasca contenente la soluzione di argentatura commerciale alcalina ai cianuri, con anodo in argento in contrapposizione al tegame, ed alimentazione continua della soluzione nella vasca con pompa di ricircolazione. L’ elettroformatura di argento prosegue fino a raggiungere uno spessore di 0,2 mm.
Il deposito d’argento mantiene la lucentezza iniziale senza bisogno di ulteriore lucidatura.
Esempio 3
Una caffettiera di ferro amico à ̈ lucidata in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. La caffettiera à ̈ prenitrurata in forno con atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2a 520°C per 1,5 ore con alto potere nitrurante PN = 1,6. Poi, viene nitrurata per 3 ore a 600°C, con potenziale nitrurante inferiore PN = 0,80. Si procede quindi all’ossidazione, lucidatura ai panni ed all’elettrodeposizione di argento come nell’esempio 1.
Esempio 4
Una teiera di ferro armco à ̈ lucidata in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. La teiera à ̈ poi nitrocarburata in forno a 530°C per 5 ore alimentato con ammoniaca ed anidride carbonica, in atmosfera contenente ammoniaca, idrogeno (da reazione) ed ossido di carbonio. Si procede poi all’ossidazione, lucidatura ai panni ed all’elettrodeposizione di argento come nell’esempio 1.
Esempio 5
Una pentola di ferro armco à ̈ lucidata in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. La pentola à ̈ poi nitrurata in forno a 550°C per 4 ore in atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2, con potenziale nitrurante PN = 0,95. Dopo lavaggio con azoto, viene ossidata per 3 ore mediante immissione di protossido di azoto tra il 4% ed il 12% nello stesso forno a temperature tra 450°C e di 550°C. Si procede poi alla lucidatura ai panni ed all’elettrodeposizione di argento come nell’esempio 1.
Esempio 6
Una pentola di ferro armco à ̈ lucidata in modo da eliminare le disuniformità meccaniche provenienti dalla sua produzione. La parte interna della pentola di ferro armco, dopo opportuno decapaggio, à ̈ rivestita con argento, introducendo nella pentola la soluzione di argentatura commerciale alcalina ai cianuri, con anodo centrale in argento, ed alimentazione continua della soluzione con pompa di ricircolazione. L’ elettroformatura di argento prosegue fino a raggiungere uno spessore di 0,1 mm. La pentola à ̈ poi nitrurata in forno a 550°C per 4 ore in atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2, con potenziale nitrurante PN = 0,95. Dopo lavaggio con azoto, viene ossidata per 2 ore mediante immissione di acqua vapore nello stesso forno a temperature di tra 490°C e di 520°C. L’interno della pentola viene quindi lucidato ai panni.
La pentola 1, formata dal recipiente metallico 10, sottoposto a trattamenti termochimici, e dalla strato interna 20, comprendente uno strato di argento depositato per elettroformatura, assolve all’ obbiettivo di migliorare la capacità di cottura degli alimenti, facilitando la distribuzione uniforme del calore, di avere proprietà antibatteriche ed antivirali, facilitare il distacco degli alimenti cotti dalla superficie interna della pentola.
I trattamenti termochimici conferiscono all’oggetto un aspetto estetico piacevole per il contrasto fra il nero della finitura di nitrossidazione, nitrocarbossidazione o carbossidazione ed il bianco riflettente dell’argento.
I trattamenti di nitrossidazione, nitrocarbossidazione o carbossidazione rendono la superficie del ferro dura e resistente a corrosione, con un comportamento anche migliore di quello dell’acciaio inox austenitico, soprattutto per la resistenza alla vaiolatura, oltre ad avere una migliorata stabilità al rinvenimento e quindi durezza a caldo, resistenza alla fatica e agli intagli, stabilità dimensionale.
L’argento e le sue leghe da elettroformatura sono più dure e resistenti dell’argento in lastra, e quindi meno soggette a possibili rigature ed abrasioni.
L’uso di un rivestimento a base di argento negli utensili da cucina à ̈ vantaggioso per le proprietà anti-batteriche ed anti-virali dell’argento, l’elevata conducibilità termica che permette la cottura al di sotto della soglia di cracking di oli e grassi aggiunti o presenti nelle sostanze da cuocere, la capacità di inibire l’adesione degli alimenti nella fase di cottura, facilitando il distacco degli alimenti dal fondo della padella.
Anche la ghisa e l’alluminio possono essere rivestiti internamente con argento elettroformato o sue leghe dopo adeguati trattamenti di finitura superficiale.
Claims (15)
- RIVENDICAZIONI 1. Procedimento di realizzazione di una manufatto da cucina, comprendente le fasi di formatura, indurimento superficiale ed ossidazione, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere inoltre Γ elettroformatura di argento o sue leghe a rivestire la parte interna del manufatto.
- 2. Procedimento secondo la rivendicazione 1, caratterizzato dal fatto che Γ elettroformatura segue le fasi di indurimento superficiale ed ossidazione.
- 3. Procedimento secondo la rivendicazione 1, caratterizzato dal fatto che l’ elettroformatura precede la fase di indurimento superficiale ed ossidazione.
- 4. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere una lucidatura finale.
- 5. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere Γ elettroformatura di argento ed in alternativa od in seguito la deposizione di una lega di argento-stagno o di argento-germanio o di argentoantimonio o di argento-bismunto.
- 6. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto che il materiale del manufatto à ̈ ferroso.
- 7. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto che la fase di indurimento superficiale consiste in un trattamento di nitrurazione.
- 8. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni 1-6, caratterizzato dal fatto che la fase di indurimento superficiale consiste in un trattamento di nitrocarbur azione.
- 9. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni 1-6, caratterizzato dal fatto che la fase di indurimento superficiale consiste in un trattamento di carburazione.
- 10. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere un trattamento di finitura prima del trattamento di indurimento superficiale.
- 11. Procedimento secondo la rivendicazione 7, caratterizzato dal fatto che il trattamento di nitrurazione avviene in forno ad una temperatura compresa tra 500°C e 600°C, preferibilmente a 550°C, per un periodo compreso tra 1 e 5 ore, preferibilmente 4 ore, in atmosfera di ammonica dissociata NH3/H2con potenziale nitrurante PN compreso tra 0,80 e 1,6.
- 12. Procedimento secondo la rivendicazione 7, caratterizzato dal fatto di prevedere una prima nitrurazione in forno con atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2a 520°C per 1,5 ore con alto potere nitrurante, preferibilmente PN = 1,6, ed una seconda nitrurazione in forno con atmosfera di ammoniaca dissociata, NH3/H2per 3 ore a 600°C con potenziale nitrurante inferiore, preferibilmente PN = 0,80.
- 13. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto che l’ossidazione avviene per un periodo compreso tra 1 ora e 4 ore mediante immissione di acqua vapore nel forno ad una temperatura compresa tra 400°C e 600°C, preferibilmente di 450°C o 520°C.
- 14. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni 1-12, caratterizzato dal fatto che l’ossidazione avviene per un periodo compreso tra 0,5 ore e 4 ore, preferibilmente 3 ore, mediante immissione di protossido di azoto tra il 2% ed il 12% nello stesso forno a temperature tra 450°C e di 550°C, preferibilmente di 490°C 0 520°C.
- 15. Procedimento secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni precedenti, caratterizzato dal fatto che il rivestimento interno ottenuto a seguito dell’ elettroformatura à ̈ compreso tra 0,1 e 0,2 mm.
