Description
La presente invenzione riguarda un purificatore di gas avente, per determinare il suo fine vita, un interruttore sensibile alla pressione.
Sono ben noti purificatori di gas atti ad allontanare impurezze da un gas impuro. Questi purificatori noti presentano tipicamente un involucro in comunicazione di fluido con un ingresso ed una uscita. Un materiale per l'assorbimento delle impurezze è presente all'interno dell'involucro.
Si sono incontrate notevoli difficoltà nel tentare di determinare quando questo materiale assorbitore è giunto al termine della sua vita. In generale il materiale assorbitore di impurezze ha raggiunto il suo fine vita allorché esso non assorbe più le impurità del gas impuro. E' tuttavia difficile e costoso determinare il fine vita del materiale assorbitore misurando le impurezze nel gas all’uscita. Per questa ragione recenti tentativi di determinare il fine vita del materiale assorbitore di impurezze sono stati basati sul materiale assorbitore stesso. Alcuni rilevatori di fine vita noti vengono posti nella corrente di gas; ma posizionare lì il sensore può provocare la contaminazione del gas. Altri sensori noti del fine vita hanno dato adito ad un'ampia varietà di altri problemi.
Di conseguenza è uno scopo della presente invenzione fornire un sensore di fine vita che sia sostanzialmente esente da uno o più degli inconvenienti presentati dai sensori di fine vita noti.
Un altro scopo è quello di fornire un purificatore di gas con un sensore di fine vita che sia di fabbricazione economica, facile da installare, affidabile nel funzionamento e facilmente sostituibile.
Ulteriori scopi e vantaggi della presente invenzione risulteranno evidenti agli esperti del ramo con riferimento alla seguente dettagliata descrizione e disegni in cui:
la FIGURA 1 è una rappresentazione schematica di un purificatore di gas secondo la presente invenzione ;
la FIGURA 2 è una vista ingrandita di un inter-ruttore utile nel purificatore di gas di figura 1, in cui l’interruttore si trova nella configurazione aperta; e
la FIGURA 3 è una vista dell’interruttore di figura 2 nella configurazione di chiusura.
colare alla figura 1 viene mostrato un purificatore di gas 10 secondo la presente invenzione, avente un rilevatore di fine vita. Il purificatore di gas 10 per il gas impuro. Il materiale assorbitore 14 ha la proprietà di reagire con le impurità del gas impuro. Questa reazione provoca l'espansione del materiale assorbitore 14.
Il purificatore 10 presenta inoltre un ingresso 16 del gas impuro per introdurre quest'ultimo nell'involucro 12, nonché una uscita 18 del gas puro per allontanare il gas purificato dall'involucro 12. Il purificatore 10 è provvisto di un interruttore elettrico 20 sensibile alla pressione. Quando l'interruttore 20 è chiuso in consenguenza dell'espansione del materiale 14 assorbitore di impurezze, si accende una luce 22 e suona una sirena 24, indicando così entrambe che il materiale 14 assorbitore di impurezze ha raggiunto il termine della sua vita.
L'interruttore 20 è in serie con il conduttore 26, il conduttore 28, la luce 22 e la sorgente di alimentazione 30.
La figura 2 mostra una vista ingrandita, parzialmente in sezione, dell'interruttore 20 comprendente un contenitore 34, deformabile in seguito all'espansione del materiale 14 assorbitore di impurezze, in contatto con l'involucro 12 collegato al conduttore 28 e normalmente separato da un'asta 32 che è collegata al conduttore 26.
Come mostrato in figura 2, il circuito è aperto e la luce 22 spenta perchè l'asta 32 non è in contatto con l'involucro Bicorne mostrato in figura 3i il materiale assorbitore sotto forma di pastiglie 36 si è espanso facendo venire in contatto l'involucro 34 con l'asta 32, così da chiudere il circuito ed accendere la luce 22 ed eventualmente suonare la sirena 24.
Nella forma realizzativa illustrata l'interruttore si chiude per indicare il fine vita. Sta all'esperto del ramo modificare la struttura qui illustrata perchè in un'altra forma realizzativa l'interruttore si apra invece che chiudersi. Naturalmente la luce 22 o la sirena 24 possono essere sostituite da altri segnali indicanti il fine vita. Una ampia varietà di materiali assorbitori di gas possono essere utilizzati nel purificatore della presente invenzione purché siano soggetti ad una espansione di volume allorché assorbono impurità. Esempi di materiali adatti comprendono tra gli altri leghe di zirconio e di titanio. Esempi di specifiche leghe adatte comprendono leghe di Zr, V e Fe, nonché Zr2Fe.
Qualsiasi gas impuro può essere purificato a condizione che il materiale assorbitore di impurezze assorba le impurità nel gas. Esempi di gas impuri comprendono gas nobili impuri come argo e neon impuri. Anche l’azoto impuro può essere purificato.
Benché l'invenzione sia stata descritta con riferimento ad una forma realizzativa preferita si comprenderà che possono essere apportate varianti all’invenzione come sopra descritta senza uscire dall'ambito dell'invenzione stessa.

4. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il materiale assorbitore di gas (14) è Zr^Fe .
5. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il gas impuro è un gas nobile impuro.
6. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 5, in cui il gas impuro è argo impuro.
7. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il gas impuro è azoto impuro.
8. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui l'interruttore (20) chiude il circuito in risposta all'espansione del materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze.
9- Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui l'interruttore (20) apre un circuito in risposta all'espansione del materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze.
10. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui i mezzi (22) per determinare la configurazione dell'interruttore (20) sono visibili.
11. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 10 in cui i mezzi (22) per determinare la configurazione dell’interruttore (20) sono luminosi.
12. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui i mezzi (24) per determinare la configurazione dell'interruttore (20) sono udibili.
13- Purificatore di gas per gas impuro, avente un rilevatore del termine della sua vita, detto purificatore (10) comprendendo:
A. un involucro (12) a tenuta di gas e conduttore elettrico;
B. un materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze contenuto nell’involucro (12) che riempie compietamente lasciando soltanto passaggi per il gas impuro, in cui detto materiale assorbitore (14) ha la proprietà di reagire con impurezze del gas impuro, detta reazione provocando l'espansione del materiale stesso;
C. un ingresso (16) del gas impuro per alimentare gas impuro nell’involucro (12);
D. una uscita del gas puro (18) per allontanare il gas purificato dall'involucro (12);
E. un interruttore elettrico sensibile alla pressione all'interno dell'involucro (12) in cui l'interruttore (20) è chiuso in seguito all'espansione del materiale assorbitore (14); e
F. una lampadina (22) che si accende quando l'interruttore (20) è chiuso, indicando così la fine della vita del materiale assorbitore di impurezze (14).
Questi ed altri scopi vengono raggiunti secondo la presente invenzione fornendo un purificatore di gas impuri avente:
A. un involucro;
B. un materiale assorbitore di impurezze contenuto all'interno dell'involucro in cui il materiale assorbitore ha la proprietà di reagire con le impurezze del gas impuro e tale reazione provoca l'espansione del materiale assorbitore di impurezze;
C. un ingresso del gas impuro;
D. una uscita del gas puro;
E. un interruttore elettrico sensibile alla pressione posto all'interno dell'involucro, in cui la configurazione di detto interruttore dipende dall' espansione del materiale assorbitore di impurezze;e F. mezzi esterni all'involucro per determinare la configurazione dell'interruttore.
Facendo ora riferimento ai disegni ed in particolare alla figura 1 viene mostrato un purificatore di gas 10 secondo la presente invenzione, avente un rilevatore di fine vita. Il purificatore di gas 10 comprende un involucro 12 a tenuta di gas e conduttore elettrico. Un materiale 14 atto ad assorbire impurezze è contenuto nell'involucro 12 in modo da riempirlo completamente lasciando soltanto passaggi
Claims (12)
- RIVENDICAZIONI 1. Purificatore di gas (10) per gas impuri avente un rilevatore di fine vita, detto purificatore (10) comprendendo: A. un involucro (12); B. un materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze contenuto all'interno dell'involucro (12), in cui detto materiale (14) ha la proprietà di reagire con le impurezze del gas impuro, tale reazione provocando l'espansione di detto materiale assorbitore (14); C. un ingresso (16) del gas impuro; D. una uscita (18) del gas puro; E. un interruttore elettrico (20) sensibile alla pressione all'interno dell'involucro (12), la configurazione di dette interruttore (20) essendo in funzione dell'espansione di detto materiale (14); e F. mezzi (22; 24) all’esterno dell'involucro (12) per determinare la conflgprazicne dell'interruttore (20).
- 2. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in .cui l'involucro (12) è cilindrico.
- 3. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il materiale assorbitore di gas (14) è una lega di Zr, V ed Fe.
- 4. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il materiale assorbitore di gas (14) è Zr^Fe .
- 5. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il gas impuro è un gas nobile impuro.
- 6. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 5, in cui il gas impuro è argo impuro.
- 7. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui il gas impuro è azoto impuro.
- 8. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui l'interruttore (20) chiude il circuito in risposta all'espansione del materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze.
- 9- Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui l'interruttore (20) apre un circuito in risposta all'espansione del materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze.
- 10. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui i mezzi (22) per determinare la configurazione dell'interruttore (20) sono visibili.
- 11. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 10 in cui i mezzi (22) per determinare la configurazione dell’interruttore (20) sono luminosi.
- 12. Purificatore di gas secondo la rivendicazione 1, in cui i mezzi (24) per determinare la configurazione dell'interruttore (20) sono udibili. 13- Purificatore di gas per gas impuro, avente un rilevatore del termine della sua vita, detto purificatore (10) comprendendo: A. un involucro (12) a tenuta di gas e conduttore elettrico; B. un materiale (14) assorbitore di impurezze contenuto nell’involucro (12) che riempie compietamente lasciando soltanto passaggi per il gas impuro, in cui detto materiale assorbitore (14) ha la proprietà di reagire con impurezze del gas impuro, detta reazione provocando l'espansione del materiale stesso; C. un ingresso (16) del gas impuro per alimentare gas impuro nell’involucro (12); D. una uscita del gas puro (18) per allontanare il gas purificato dall'involucro (12); E. un interruttore elettrico sensibile alla pressione all’interno dell'involucro (12) in cui l’interruttore (20) è chiuso in seguito all'espansione del materiale assorbitore (14); e F. una lampadina (22) che si accende quando l'interruttore (20) è chiuso, indicando così la fine della vita del materiale assorbitore di impurezze (14).
