Abstract

E' altamente desiderabile che i battistrada di pneumatici presentino buone caratteristiche di trazione, per esempio buona resistenza allo slittamento ad umido. Tuttavia, è stato tradizionalmente molto difficile perfezionare le caratteristiche di trazione di uno pneumatico senza sacrificare la resistenza al rotolamento e la usura del battistrada. Gli elastomeri a segmenti ad alte prestazioni secondo la presente invenzione offrono una combinazione speciale di caratteristiche desiderabili per la utilizzazione nella fabbricazione di composizioni per pneumatici di battistrada.
