Abstract

Un ricevitore a diversità (200) ricupera l'informazione di orologeria o di clock da diverse versioni (301, 302) di un segnale trasmesso (106). Il ricevitore a diversità, (200) riceve le diverse versioni (301, 302), converte le versioni (301, 302) in campioni (307, 317) attraverso un comune clock di campionamento (309). Il ricevitore (200) quindi correla i campioni (307, 317) con simili configurazioni di sincronizzazione ed utilizza l'informazione di clock dalla versione ricevuta (307 o 317) che fornisce il massimo segnale di uscita di correlazione (504, 506) per la rivelazione dei dati in uno di due rivelatori (323, 326). La scelta dei rivelatori (323, 326) è determinata dal ricevitore a diversità (200) attraverso il conteggio del numero totale delle differenze di bit emesse in uscita dai rivelatori (323, 326) attraverso un predeterminato periodo di tempo e confrontando le differenze di bit totali con un numero rappresentato da un segnale di soglia (330).
