Abstract

Procedimento catalitico per la produzione di gas di sintesi a partire da metano, ossigeno ed eventualmente anidride carbonica ed acqua, nel quale si impiega un catalizzatore di metallo nobile supportato su un supporto solido, disposto in forma di più letti catalitici in successione, e si opera in condizioni adiabatiche:- alimentando la corrente gassosa dei reagenti a monte del primo letto catalitico ed asportando calore mediante scambio termico tra i letti catalitici in serie, oppure - introducendo la corrente gassosa dei reagenti parzialmente a monte del primo letto catalitico e parzialmente, quale corrente fredda, tra i letti catalitici in serie.
