Viene descritto l'uso di derivati di glicerofosfocolina, glicerofosfoserina, e glicerofosfoetanolammina come agenti antiperossidanti e vengono descritte le composizioni farmaceutiche contenenti tali derivati quali principi attivi. Tali composizioni farmaceutiche sono utilmente impiegate in tutti quegli stati patologici che si instaurano nell'organismo in seguito ad una alterata produzione di radicali liberi.
