Abstract

Le parti asportate o danneggiate del rivestimento di tubi metallici ricoperti con materiali plastici espansi o con alti spessori di materiali plastici non espansi, vengono riparate impiegando una o più parti di cilindro cavo avente raggio interno pari al raggio esterno del tubo metallico e raggio esterno pari alla somma del raggio esterno del tubo metallico e di una lunghezza compresa tra l'80% e il 120% dello spessore del rivestimento, dette parti di cilindro cavo essendo costituite da una composizione polimerica, preferibilmente espansa, comprendente (percentuali in peso):A) da 92% a 100% di un polimero termoplastico, scelto tra polipropilene; copolimeri cristallini del propilene contenenti da 2% a 25% in moli di etilene e/o alfa-olefine C4-C10; composizioni eterofasiche comprendenti un polimero dei tipi suddetti e uno o più copolimeri olefinici elastomerici;B) da 0% e 8% di una carica avente funzione di schermo alle radiazioni UV.
