Abstract

Un sistema per la gestione della memorizzazione e restituzione di sequenze di segnali video su memorie di massa digitali comprendente: un calcolatore (100) munito dei convenzionali Bus (105, 106, 107); una sorgente/destinazione (102) per segnali video; una memoria di massa digitale (104) associata ad un relativo controller (103); mezzi a memoria tampone (112) intercolleganti operativamente in modo asincrono la sorgente/destinazione (102) e la memoria digitale (104), disposti in modo che il calcolatore possa gestire il trasferimento di dati video bidirezionale tra la sorgente/destinazione (102) e la memoria digitale (104) senza impegnare la memoria di massa del calcolatore pur mantenendo la possibilità di intervento sui segnali in transito nella memoria tampone (112).(fig. 2).
