Abstract
Il procedimento consiste in: una prima fase di elettrodeposizione in cui gli elementi da rivestire, portati a potenziale catodico, vengono connessi con anodi solubili in rame ed immersi in una soluzione acquosa contenente solfato pentaidrato di rame e dicromati, facendo simultaneamente passare tra gli elettrodi una corrente elettrica di intensità prefissata attraverso la soluzione, fino a formare sugli elementi da rivestire una patina di ricopertura di solfato basico di rame e di cromati esa- e tri-valenti; una seconda fase in cui gli elementi provvisti della patina di ricopertura vengono immersi per un tempo prefissato in una soluzione riducente per i cromati, per esempio di solfito; ed una terza rase in cui gli elementi, estratti dalla soluzione riducente per i cromati vengono immersi per un tempo prefissato in una soluzione ossidante/decromatante, in particolare a base di solfato di rame pentaidrato e clorati.
