Abstract
E' fornito un involucro o alloggiamento 10 lateralmente compresso di materiale elettrolitico solido per l'impiego come portaelettrodi in una cella elettrochimica. Esso presenta due facce principali opposte 12 sigillate mutuamente lungo almeno parte della periferia 14, 16 dell'involucro, ciascuna faccia principale o maggiore essendo fornita da un foglio 18, 20 di detto materiale elettrolitico solido. Ciascun foglio è dotato sulla propria superficie interna di una pluralità di nervature o ondulazioni 22 estendentisi l'una a fianco dell'altra, ciascuna nervatura o ondulazione di ciascun detto foglio intersecando una pluralità delle nervature o ondulazioni 22 dell'altro detto foglio. L'involucro ha un volume interno, tra i fogli, definito almeno in parte da gole o avvallamenti tra le nervature o creste delle ondulazioni. Ciascuna parte di detto volume interno si trova in comunicazione con ciascun altra parte rispettiva di detto volume interno. L'invenzione fornisce pure un procedimento per realizzare l'involucro o alloggiamento, e una cella elettrochimica in cui l'involucro forma un portaelettrodo.
