Abstract
La camera principale di un cilindro idraulico è connessa a due pompe a mandata variabile, delle quali la prima è collegata ad un serbatoio e la seconda è collegata alla seconda camera del cilindro. Questo consente di assoggettare il pistone a forze idrauliche agenti su entrambi i suoi lati, e corrispondenti alla direzione del suo spostamento. Ciò si ottiene regolando la mandata di entrambe le pompe in modo che il volume erogato sia superiore al volume scaricato. Regolando opportunamente la differenza tra le due mandate si ottiene la corrispondente contro-pressione desiderata.
