Claims (3)

C L A I M S Process, for preparing cycloalkanones and cycloalkanols by conversion of eye loalk lhydr peroxides under the influence of a solid heterogeneous catalyst, this process being characterized in that a. cycloalkylhydroperoxide having 5 - 1 2 carbon .atoms in the ring is converted under the influence of an.oxidic chromium catalyst. · Process according to claim 1 , characterized in that as a. catalyst, chromium oxide is applied prepared by heating a compound which decomposes into chromium oxide when heated. Process, according to one of the claims 1 and .2 , characterize in that as a catalyst chromium oxide on a. carrier material is applied with a, chromium content of maximum 1 0 by weight Process according to one of the claims 1 -3 , characterized in that a catalyst containing six-valent chromium is applied..
