Abstract

1427248 Packing plastics sheet articles BRITISH VISQUEEN Ltd 18 July 1974 [14 Aug 1973] 38408/73 Heading B8C A folded stack, e.g. of plastics bags for dispensing from a satchel, Figs. 2-3 (not shown), is first folded in zig-zag fashion into three substantially equal panels, and is then folded substantially in half at right angles to the initial fold lines. The stack may be inserted into a carton (20), Fig. 10 (not shown). The stack is initially inserted between an upper shaft 10 and a lower shaft 11 connected by a rod 12, so that rotation of the shaft 11 about the shaft 10 to the position of Fig. 8 effects the initial folding. A member 17, Fig. 9, then presses the folded stack between plates 15, 16 of a magazine to effect the second folding action. [GB1427248A]
