1441143 Milk concentrate DE DANSKE SUKKERFABRIKKER AS 19 March 1974 [20 March 1973] 13337/73 Heading A2B A milk concentrate used as an additive to mixes for frozen dairy products is prepared by the filtration of skimmed milk or whey through a semi-permeable membrane. Preferably skimmed milk is hyper filtered until the dry matter content has increased 10-20% by wt. or ultrafiltered to remove lactose and increase the dry matter content to 11-20% by wt. Alternatively whey can be ultrafiltered to a dry matter content of 15-20%. [GB1441143A]
