Abstract

1413285 Suction actuated valve actuation for pressurized dispensers BESPAK INDUSTRIES Ltd and W E WARREN 10 Nov 1972 [25 Nov 1971] 54852/71 Heading F1R A dispenser having suction actuated means for operating the valve of a pressurized dispensing container comprises a casing 51 having means to receive a container 54 so that its outlet discharges into a duct having an air inlet 63 and an outlet 52 for placing in the mouth. A vane 61 is pivoted in the housing and normally closes the duct but is movable to open the duct as the result of pressure difference created by suction on outlet 52, and also to disengage a strut 58 from the valve stem 55 to release a dose from the container 54. The device is reset by a spring-loaded pin 65 and before use the valve stem is depressed by the strut 58 which as shown has a push button 57. [GB1413285A]
