Abstract

1333647 Insolubilized amyloglucosidase SNAM PROGETTI SpA 21 Sept 1971 [22 Sept 1970] 44045/71 Heading C3H [Also in Division C2] A filament containing amyloglucosidase in active form is used to produce glucose by contacting with an aqueous solution of solubilized starch. The filament may be a filament-forming polymer, e.g. nitrated, esterified and etherified cellulosic polymers, polyolefins, polymers and copolymers of acrylonitrile, acrylates, methacrylates, vinyl esters, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride and styrene, and polyamides. The preferred polymers are cellulose triacetate and poly-α-methyl-1-glutamate. [GB1333647A]
