Abstract

The cooled mixture of carrier medium solvent vapour mixture is routed through two heat exchangers of a heat pump. The vapour spaces of these two heat exchangers are connected in series. - The heated carrier medium is recycled to the evaporator, through an air heater if necessary, using a fan. The cooling medium is routed through the liquid side of the same heat exchangers and pumped through a liquid storage tank and an expansion valve in a closed circuit.
