Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compressor which does not require routine supply of heat medium and refrigerant and can continue safety drive by a method wherein a heat gas engine and a refrigerating compressor are combined in a unitary body so that the heat medium and the refrigerant can be distributed in the most suitable manner.
CONSTITUTION: The heat gas engine A and the regrigerant compressor B combined in a unitary body are connected mechanically with each other in the same closed case 35. In a low temperature space of the heat engine A a flexible diaphragm 31 is provided between the external periphery surface of a displacement rod 4 and the internal wall surface of a cylinder 11. Hydrogen or helium suitable for heat medium is sealed on one side of the diaphragm 31 and in a bypath connected with a heater 9, coolers 8, 7 and in a high temperature space 10 and a low temperature space 29 while not only a low temperature space on the other side of the diaphragm 31 and a space occupied by the heat gas engine A but also the whole space of the compressor B and spaces up to all gas circuits for refrigerating or cooling and heating are filled with a refrigerant like freon and so forth. Thus, no routine supply of heat medium or refrigerant is required and safety drive can be continued.
