Abstract

Ο κοχλιωτός μηχανισμός επεξεργασίας αφυδάτωσης και συμπίεσης λάσπης των μονάδων επεξεργασίας υγρών αποβλήτων, βασίζεται στα εξής βασικά τμήματα: Α. - Δοχείο ρύθμισης ροής εξερχόμενης λάσπης. (20) Β. - Δοχείο ανάμιξης του χημικού για την δημιουργία κροκίδων της λάσπης. (25) Γ. - Δοχείο συσσωμάτωσης των κροκίδων της λάσπης. (28) Δ. - Σύστημα α) συστοιχιών ομοκέντρων σταθερών, δακτύλιοι (6) τοποθετημένοι παράλληλα κατά τη διάσταση του πάχους των σχηματίζουν σωλήνα (35) όπου μέσα σε αυτόν κινείται ατέρμονας κοχλίας (1) μεταβλητού βήματος κινούμενος περιστροφικά μέσω ηλεκτρομειωτήρα και β) κινούμενων (32) δακτυλίων τοποθετημένων κατά μήκος με εφαπτόμενη την εσωτερική τους περιφέρεια στην εξωτερική διάμετρο των πτερυγίων του όπου και τους περιστρέφει. Μεταξύ των κινούμενων (32) και των σταθερών (6) δακτυλίων υπάρχουν κενά διαστήματα τα οποία καθορίζονται από το πάχος ροδελών (αποστατών) (7) και από αυτά εξέρχεται η ποσότητα νερού που υπάρχει στη συσσωματωμένη λάσπη σταδιακά και ενώ ωθείται προς την έξοδο επιτυγχάνεται η πάχυνση και η αφυδάτωσή της και τέλος η συμπίεσή της από ρυθμιζόμενο δίσκο συμπίεσης (10) και παραλαμβάνεται τελικά υπό στερεά μορφή (κέικ) με υγρασία μικρότερη του 80 τοις εκατό. Ανά διαστήματα, γίνεται αυτόματη πλύση του κοχλία (1) με καθαρό νερό. Κάτω από το σύστημα του κοχλία υπάρχει δεξαμενή (14) όπου συλλέγεται το νερό που στραγγίζει από το σύστημα το οποίο επιστρέφει (15) στη μονάδα επεξεργασίας αποβλήτων.
