Abstract

999,217. Cushions. DAYCO CORPORATION. July 10, 1964 [July 12, 1963], No. 28629/64. Heading A4M. A latex foam rubber cushion has upper and lower matching halves 12, 13 with corresponding cavities 14, 15 to form a cavity 16 when superposed, three of the edges of the halves being permanently bonded and the remaining mating edges 18, 19 having closure means which may be repeatedly separated and joined, such as a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive or hooked pile fabric. A pad or pads of foam rubber or foam plastic may be inserted in cavity 16, or an inflatable bladder or a hot water bottle or an electrically heated pad, squeaking toys for children, an alarm clock, a radio or a tape recorder.
