[Also in Division B5] A cushion having a curved or dished contour is made by locating on a former 5 having a curved base 7 and straight sides 6 a portion of foamed elastomer 2, locating at the mouth of the former a second portion 1 of foamed elastomer having width less than the width of the first portion 2, the upper face of the portion 2 and, if desired, the lower face of the portion 1 having adhesive thereon, and applying pressure to the second portion 1 to cause the layers to unite together. The outer edges of the two portions may be bevelled. The foamed elastomer may be polyurethane or rubber latex.
