997, 731. Knitting machines. KIDDE TEXTILE MACHINERY CORPORATION. June 18, 1963 [June 19, 1962], No. 24184/63. Heading D1C. A warp knitting machine comprises a pair of frame members 10 supporting a needle bar 11 and above it a channel member which has openings in its bottom wall 20 and supports brackets 25 with bearings for a driven shaft 26 carrying a plurality of eccentrics 28 each having a follower 30 with an arm 31 pivoted to a lever 29 passing through one of the openings in wall 20 and secured to a guide bar rock shaft 16 mounted in bearings beneath the wall 20. As shown, a longitudinally movable guide bar 14 is suspended by hangers 15 from shaft 16.
