997617 Spray-producers STERLING DRUG Inc 30 Oct 1963 [5 Nov 1962] 42809/63 Headings F1R and R3A302 A dispensing head for a medicament aerosol container 10 comprises a cylindrical body member 20 having an integral delivery tube 28. The valve stem 14 associated with the container is depressible by a button 26 which is formed with passageways 60, 64 leading to the spray orifice and comprises a member so shaped at its upper end that depression thereof reveals a semicircular passageway 66 connecting the interior of the tube 28 to atmosphere. Consequently the medicament spray issuing from the passageway 64 draws in air around the upper inclined wall 38 of the button 26 such that a mixture of air and medicament issues from the tube 28. When not in use the latter is closed by a cap 32.
