994,202. Reciprocating pumps and motors. J. U. THOMA. Dec. 20, 1963 [Dec. 20, 1962], No. 48111/62. Heading F1A. An hydraulic pump or motor comprises a rotary cylinder block 1, pistons 2 connected to a thrust plate 6 which is rotated by a shaft 7 and which rotates the cylinder block through a universal joint (not shown). Sleeves 11 are a force fit on projections 10 of the cylinder block casing 8 and are journalled in members 12 fixed to extensions 14 of the thrust plate casing 9. Slots 15 in the extensions 14 are of sufficient width to accommodate the projections 10 and they terminate in circular openings to accommodate the members 12.
