Abstract

994,090. Garments. P. L. R. PAINDOVOINE. Jan. 29, 1963 [Feb. 20, 1962], No. 3677/63. Heading A3V. A man's garment comprises a central portion connected to the waist and to the front portion to overlie the front portion and to define therewith openings for legs, the central portion being shaped to provide a pocket. Pants for men comprise a section consisting of a rear flap 3 integral with a crotch section 2 and a gusset 1. The gusset 1 is sewn on to the front of the garment and extends to the waistband and the leg openings. The gusset has a notched middle part which is sewn to provide a pocket 5. The flap 3 is sewn to the sides of the front portion. The gusset may be knitted and reinforced.
