824,703. Men's pants &c. CORAH (ST. MARGARET) Ltd., N., and ARKINSTALL, T. April 16, 1958 [April 23, 1957], No. 12899/57. Class 141 In a pair of men's underpants, briefs or bathing trunks the front portion comprises a main panel 9, a narrower central panel 10 superimposed on the main panel and defining with it a fly opening 18, and a crotch portion 3 of double-thickness connecting the lower edge of the central panel to the back portion. The part of the main panel underlying the central panel terminates near the lower edge of the central panel so as to define an opening to the interior of the garment; a further opening 18 is defined by the unattached part of one of the inclined side edges of the central panel 10. The crotch portion 3 is formed from a blank 19, Fig. 2 (not shown) with two darts which are seamed to give a pouched effect.
