A conveyer frame 10 comprises a pair of identical, symmetrically arranged, longitudinally extending side frame members 12 laterally spaced by tie-bars 14 and mounted on legs 50, 52. Each side frame member 12 comprises a pair of parallel channel members 16 spaced by a third channel member 18. Each channel member 16 has a bottom 20, a short side 22 and a long side 24 with an inwardly-turned portion 26. The channel member 18 has a bottom 28 and a pair of sides 30, 32 having inturned hookshaped ends 34, 36. The long side 24 of the upper channel member 16 and the short side 22 of the lower channel member 16 (Fig. 2) respectively provide tracks for rollers 46, 48 on an endless slat conveyer of the type described in Specification 932,683. A nut 54 having ridges 56, 58 engaging the flanges 34, 36 is held in a desired location in the channel 18 by a spring 60 bearing against the nut 54 and the bottom 28 of the channel member 18. The leg 50 is clamped to the frame 10 by a bolt 62 threaded into the nut 54. Other accessories may be similarly clamped.
