Abstract

926,548. Endless-conveyer belts. BRITISH WEDGE WIRE CO. Ltd. Nov. 1, 1961 [Sept. 2, 1961], No. 31613/61. Class 78 (1). The ends 15 of links 10 of a conveyer belt are connected to the ends of transverse rods 11 by spring fasteners or clips 16. Each clip is of cylindrical form and functions as a rubbing surface for reducing friction during movement of the belt. The links are of flat strip and have holes or slots 12 to receive the transverse rods 11.
