A conveyer belt is made of an upper cloth 10 and a lower cloth 11 which are bound together by binder threads 12. The warp ends 13 are uniform along the width of the belt except that at 14, 15 (Fig. 3) the warp ends are omitted in the upper cloth so as to form at 22 (Fig. 1) a line of bend to allow the belt to be troughed. The warp ends omitted from the upper cloth may be incorporated in the lower cloth at the same line of bend.
