A cradle for a gas cylinder comprises upper and lower spaced rings 1, 2 held in spaced relationship by upright members 3 which are out-turned to form feet 4 by which it is secured to plate members 11, 12 bolted to a vehicle drawbar T. A spring-urged pin 5 has a part 6 to engage over the flange at the base of the cylinder and a lock 9 may pass through a hole in the pin 5 to prevent operation.
