989,024. Electrostatic precipitators. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A.B. June 25, 1962, No. 24381/62. Heading B2J. An emission electrode plant for an electrostatic precipitator comprises a rectangular frame 1, and a number of ribbon type electrodes 2 secured parallel to each other between two opposite sides of the frame, the electrodes being of curved section and made with circularly bent ends 3 adapted to be inserted into sockets 4 secured, e.g. welded, to the frame, each socket having a slot at right angles to the plane of the frame and directed towards the centre of the frame, the sockets being of a length less than the width of the ribbon electrodes 2 to make it possible to lock the electrodes 2 in the sockets by outward flaring of the edges 6 of the circularly bent ends 3.
