Abstract

1,096,533. Electrostatic precipitators. DINGLERWERKE A.G. March 2, 1965 [March 4, 1964], No. 8871/65. Heading B2J. The discharge electrode frame for an electrostatic dust extractor is formed of two sets of tubes, the tubes 10 of the smaller set passing through the tubes 9 of the larger set and the discharge electrodes 12 being mounted in tension between the tubes of the larger set. The tubes may be assembled and welded at the place of use. The horizantal tubes may be of round or, as shown, of square crosssection with the discharge electrodes 12. being held offset from the centre line of the tubes by clamping devices 11, Fig. 3.
