Abstract
987,053. Ozonizers. MIBIS MERKANTILA INGENIORSBYRAN A.B. Jan. 27, 1964 [Feb. 21, 1963], No. 3343/64. Heading H5H. An ozonizer 10 is cooled by circulating air through a refrigerator and a chamber containing the ozonizer, and a minor portion of this air is drawn into the ozonizer as a source of oxygen. The ozonizer comprises a duplicate set of coaxial aluminium electrodes, the outer ones comprising a metallic coating 23 on a dielectric (glass) tube. The electrodes are spaced apart by synthetic resin end caps which close the inner, tubular, electrode but have holes communicating with the annular space (Fig. 2, not shown). The air is circulated by a fan 19 in the direction of the arrows; replacement for that taken out as ozone entering at 16.
