Abstract
1,168,752. Ozonizers. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DES EAUX. 16 April, 1968 [16 May, 1967], No. 17889/68. Heading H5H. An ozonizer element comprising a metal sleeve 1, connected to one terminal of the H.T. transformer winding, and a glass tube 2a provided with a metal layer 2b connected to the other terminal of the H.T. transformer winding, air to be ozonized passing between ports 1 and 2a, is provided with a metal deflecting ring 6 comprising a cylindrical portion 6a in contact with layer 2b and a part parabolic portion 6b extending beyond layer 2b. Ring 6 is of annealed polished steel and is split at 7 and serves to improve the distribution of the electric field. Reference is directed to Specification 1,092,974. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,092,974.
