A door is mounted by hinge plates 30, 36 having bearing pins 34, 40 adapted to be engaged in apertures 12, 19 in bearing brackets 10, 15 secured to the door frame, one at least of the apertures 19 being a slot with a slotted catch-piece 21 swivelly mounted on the bracket 15 to locate the pin 40 therein. The catch-piece 21 has an arched portion 21a. Each bearing pin has a flange or washer 35, 41 and the pin 40 has a head 42 for location in the slot. The plates 30, 36 and the brackets 10, 15 are provided with elongated countersunk holes to permit adjustable mounting thereof.
