983,544. Ovens. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. May 5, 1961 [May 9, 1960], No. 16322/64. Divided out of 983,542. Drawings to Specification. Heading F4W. [Also in Division H2] The oven is identical to that disclosed in Specifications 983,542 and 983,543, but the claims are directed to a method of cleaning the oven of food soil in which it is raised-at a rate lower than that employed in cooking operations-to a temperature sufficiently high to decompose the soil. The additional heater is connected in series with the cooking heaters, and the thermostat set to the " clean " temperature, upon the attainment of which it permanently cuts off the supply.
