Abstract
983,368. Greenhouses. J. E. MINETT. July 3, 1963 [April 14, 1962], No. 14491/62. Heading E1A. In a greenhouse having a rectangular metal framework made up of a plurality of side-byside connected sections, each section includes four uprights 1, 2 and four roof hip members 7, 15, the two uprights 2 at the join between adjacent sections are common thereto, each upright has one end of its associated hip member secured to it whilst the other ends of the four hip members are connected together at 13, each hip member sloping upwardly and inwardly with respect to its associated upright so that the hip members define the sloping side faces of either a pyramid, a frustum of a pyramid or a prism, see also Figs. 6 and 10 (not shown), respectively. Portions 30, 33 and having rods 34, 35 are arranged as necessary the frame members being welded together and to attachment plates as convenient, provision being made for attachment of glazing bars, ventilation frames and guttering for details of which the Specification should be referred to.
