983,057. Lattice scaffolding. BETONBAU G.m.b.H. July 29, 1963 [July 30, 1962], No. 29976/63. Heading E1S. Scaffolding comprises lattice members joined end to end by grooved pins 6 at the upper end of one member which pass through apertures 6a in the plate 4 at the lower end of another member and are secured by wedges 5 mounted on pivots 7 about which they are turned to engage in the grooves 9 of the pin 6. A lattice member comprises four parallel angle bars connected together by diagonal bracing and plates 4, 11 at bottom and top. The plate 4 is connected to the angle bars 1 by angle bars 3 inside and projecting below the bars 1 to form a spigot for centering the scaffold members one on another. Members screw-adjustable for height are connected to the top and bottom of the scaffold members by the wedges and grooved pins, the bottom member may be mounted on a ball and socket and having a tommy bar for turning its screw.
