980,803. Mine chock assemblies. MINING ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Feb. 21, 1961 [March 17, 1960], No. 9396/60. Heading E1E. In a chock release assembly comprising spaced pairs of co-operating wedge members 10, 11 normally held in operative relationship by releasable latches 12, the stationary bottom wedge members 10 are coupled together by straps 15 which are secured thereto by pins 13 and bolts 20. Each pin has at each end an annular groove which engages a keyhole slot 17 in a strap whilst each bolt engages in aligned holes in the strap and wedge members, each pin constituting a pivot for a latch member
