Abstract

977,223. Rotary hydraulic pumps and motors. BAGHUIS N.V. May 15, 1961 [May 24, 1960], No. 17666/61. Heading F1F. A rotary hydraulic pump or motor having outwardly sliding radial vanes comprises a rotor 1, Figs. I and 2, concentrically rotatable with respect to the cylindrical bore of a central casing port 6 closed at its ends by cover plates 9, 10. The rotor 1 rotatable in plate-like bearings 5 is formed with a plurality of radial slots 3 each mounting a pair of vanes 2 spring- urged into engagement with the non-circular inner surfaces of ring members 11 located one at either end of the casing port 6. The central casing part is divided into two working chambers 14, each having an inlet 7 and an outlet 8, by elements 13 adjustably secured in longitudinal grooves 12 in the casing by screws 15. The ends 17 of the elements are keyed into the rings 11 to prevent the latter rotating.
