Abstract

974,415. Centrifugal separators. SECRETARY GENERAL OF RUMANIAN MINISTERUL INDUSTRIEI BUNURILOR DE CONSUM. Feb. 9, 1961, No. 4897/61. Heading B2P. Dust &c. particles are removed from air in spinning mills by passing the air firstly through a rotating perforated cylinder 3 to separate out the coarse particles, secondly through a hopper 6 where further particles settle in the bottom part 7 of the hopper and finally through tubular filters 9 to remove the fine particles. The cylinder 3 is mounted in a housing 2 having an inlet 1 for the air to be treated and a cleaning door 4. Air is discharged from the ends of the cylinder 3 to the hopper 6 through ducts 5.
