Abstract

970, 974. Coin-freed apparatus. STOCONTROL SERVICE Ltd. Sept. 19, 1963, No. 36989/63. Heading G4V. The sliding drawer 3 of a vending machine has a recess 16 in which the bottom article of a stack rests ready for extraction and has a slot 17 into which a coin is delivered, the top of the coin lying below the rear surface 14 on which the upper articles rest when the drawer is pulled out, and the bottom of the coin projecting below the drawer to release a catch as the drawer is pulled out, a portion 18 of the surface 14 being cut away behind the slot 17 so that a second coin resting on top of. a first coin in the slot 17 is supported on the cutaway portion 18 while the drawer is pulled out and enters the slot 17 when the drawer is pushed back. The coin delivery, shoot and catch are shown in Figs. 1 and 2 which are not reproduced here.
