970,926. Dynamo-electric machines. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGS - G.m.b.H. July 22, 1963 [Aug. 17, 1962], No. 28957/63. Heading H2A. A magnetic screening ring 4 between the winding end turns 3 and iron core 1 in a dynamo-electric machine, e.g. turbo-alternator, comprises an assembly of wires 5 embedded in an insulating resin ring 6 cast about them, the wires extending generally in a circumferential direction and being mutually insulated. The wires may form a plurality of separate closed rings 7 . . . 9, or be bundled or plaited. The wire 1 shown is that of the stator.
