Abstract

The urea adduct obtained by dewaxing hydrocarbon oils according to the process of the parent Specification is produced in an easily separable form by mixing and stirring the hot concentrated urea solution prepared by decomposing the adduct with the oil solvent, e.g. methylene chloride, preferably in a ratio of 1.5-4 parts solvent per part of urea solution, cooling the urea solution by allowing part of the solvent to evaporate, and then using the cooled mixture to form fresh adduct with the oil to be dewaxed.
