[Also in Division F2] In epicyclic gearing for converting a small angular movement of an arm 14 about a spindle 13 into a large angular movement of the spindle 13 itself, e.g. for lifting through 180 degrees a load L carried by arms on the spindle ends, the chain gearing of the parent Specification is replaced by toothed gearing. The arm 14 is bifurcated and carries two diametrically-opposite planet pinions 29, 291 rolling on a fixed sun gear 12, the rotation of the pinions being conveyed to respective outer spindles 23, 231 by spur gearing. The bifurcated arm 14 carries on each side parallel plates 40, 41 having trains of spur gearing coupling the spindles 23, 231 to output gears 58 fast on the spindle 13.
