A diametrally divided flanged hub 1, keyed to a shaft, has secured thereto by bolts 15, 21 a diametrically divided spur or bevel wheel 4 and a diametrally divided collar 6, the planes of division 10, 20 of the gear 4 and collar 6 being perpendicular to the plane of division of the hub 1.
