Abstract

1386114 Toothed gearing ALLEN-BRADLEY CO 7 April 1972 [8 April 1971] 16157/72 Heading F2Q [Also in Division H1] A reduction gear module, Fig. 8, used to produce vernier control of a potentiometer comprises a first sun gear 58 connected to a hollow outer shaft 57 which drives a first pair of planet gears 72 around a circumferential gear rack 77. The planet gears are rotatably mounted on a circular flange 73 carrying a second sun gear 74 which inturn drives a second pair of planet gears 75. The output is transmitted to a pedestal 63 and coupler 61 via a second circular flange 76.
